One of my co-workers ordered some cards from me and so I spent today working on them.

I need to spend tomorrow working on school- I can't believe how fast the week has flown. I planned to work at school getting copies made, bulletin boards down and back up again and well....here it is almost Thursday and I have not even opened my plan book......

I worked on this today. I took a lot of pictures and plan to make a mini album for all of them, but I also wanted to make a layout for each of the kid's albums. I will make Declin's tomorrow.The ric rac is really straight on the layout, but for some reason it is crooked in the picture.
I have been thinking about scrapping all week, but everytime I sat down to do it nothing was coming together. Finally today it came together:
The creative bug hit me this week. I have not made cards for such a long time I have forgotten how fun and creative they can be. I found some scraps of Basic Grey, Flowers, Brads and the lace is from my grandma's sewing basket. I love the vintage feel of them.
I went to the mall today with my mom. She had an appointment to get her hair done, so while she was doing that I visited MAC Cosmetic counter. I have bought their makeup before, but it has been a while so I wanted to have them match the right color for me. I thought it would be easy to just match the color on a little bit of my face, but I ended up in the makeup chair and my whole face was redone. I was a little worried that I would have to leave the mall quickly because I would have way more makeup on than I usually wear and feel too done up. I had a nice surprise when I looked in the mirror and it looked really good. I made my purchase {s} way more than I planned to get or spend, but that is ok. I left the store and on the way to the salon where I had left mom I was approached by a lady selling hair straighteners. I found myself in her chair and the next thing I know she had the straightener in my hair and I was on display in the middle of the mall. It looked good when she was done, but I was not going to spend $100 + for a staightener. My quiet trip to the mall turned into a mini makeover. It was fun and so unplanned.
This is the first picture of our whole family together since my sister and her husband got married three years ago. It just never seems to work out when we are all together to take a picture. We think about doing it and then it never happens.
I had a chance to scrap lastnight after we got home from the Easter Celebration and the kids were asleep.
It is very plain, but it just called for simple and plain.
I made this today. It was very simple, but I wanted to make something that I could put on the shelf and Chloee could look at. 
We spent the day at my parents. We had Christmas with my sister and her husband and my niece. My grandma was there also. This is the first year that we have celebrated Christmas early with my sister.She has several places to be on Christmas and it gets to be too much, so we tried something different this year. It was nice to get together. Chloee got this princess dress. She wore it all day. So cute.
Today we went over to Tony's parents to see some cousins from South Carolina and an aunt from Washington. We always enjoy getting together with them. We sit around and laugh and listen to old stories. The kids each get a present and a book so they are content to hang out downstairs and paly. I never take my camera- it is just nice to remember the memory.
I spent the evening wrapping presents and Samm watched me from under the tree. She loves to sit under there and act like she is hidding.
It was a good day. I always look forward to our time with this family.
Today we received this letter in one of our Christmas cards. It is from my aunt's mother. This letter was filled with such nice words and encouragement, that I wanted to treasure it.
I had a chance to do some shopping by myself today. What a treat it was. I was able to get so much done. I love this time of the year- despite the grumpy people out there.
I am looking forward to a night in with the kids and Tony to get wrapping done.
