Neglect....

I've neglected the blog again. So here is an update.

Valentines Weekend: The kids stayed with my parents on Saturday of that weekend. Tony and I went out to dinner and then rented a movie. Couple's Retreat. During the night Chloee got sick. She spiked a fever and she started convulsing. Mom called 911 and they sent an ambulance up. Chloee and I ended up riding in the ambulance. There are no seat belts or handles in there. It was a bumpy ride. I almost grabbed the cute EMT's leg a couple of times just to stay in my seat. :)  We were in the emergency for about 4 hours. I kept her home for a couple of days. 

Declin got sick on Wednesday and then we were all back at school on Friday. 

Friday Night came crashing down on me and I got the  flu. Today is the first day that I have even got dressed. I hate being sick, but I have lost several more pounds. :) I will be going back to school tomorrow. I miss my class.

Last week in between my nursing shifts I managed to make this:

  

Tony and Declin went fishing this last weekend. They did catch a fish, I am waiting for Rich to send over the picture. It was a hen- full of lots of eggs. They are in the refrigerator. I have to remind the kids that they are not jello. The jello is in the bowl on the bottom shelf. 

So that is what we have been up to. 
 

More 5th Birthday

We celebrated Chloee's birthday yesterday at Papa's Pizza. Here is just a snap shot of the party. The pictures aren't that great, but at least the day was captured for the memory book.

Apple Farm Field Trip

Where does time go? It has been awhile since I blogged. I am hoping to get better at it.

Today was the school wide field trip to the Apple Farm. It was not a good day to go as it was raining- more like pouring, wind blowing and cold…..definatly a fall Oregon day.

We have a new fisherman/woman in the house these days. Chloee!!! Tony took the kids to Haag Lake on Sunday. This was the first time that Chloee had been fishing and in the boat. She caught the one and only fish of the day:

 

She was pretty excited about it and Declin was not…..he now has some competition.

Catch Up

School is in full now and the business has begun. I have two great classes of kids. I got the giggles during quiet time on Wednesday. My class thought I should go into timeout because I was being disrupting the class. Hmmm…..I guess if I give it I have to take it also…..

Chloee has found a little boy in her class that has stolen her heart. His name is Gaven. He was in my class last year. Quite the ladies man. He has noticed her also….puppy love…so cute.

Declin is keeping to himself this year so far. We have not gotten any behavior calls, etc. I am not sure how impressed I am with his teacher yet. There has been no communication from her and we have been in school two weeks. I would think that there would be something by now.

That’s pretty much it for now.

Chloee's First Day of Pre-K

Wednesday was Chloee’s first day of Pre-K. This year she is going everyday for three hours. She is loving it and so am I. She knows most of the kids in her class because they were all my kids last year. I love getting to see them everyday.

 

 

 

I had my first day on Wednesday day also. I have 26 cute little four year olds that have stolen my heart. It is going to be a good year.

Chloee's Last Day

Today was Chloee's last day of school.

There was a little program at the end of day where parents and grandparents could come and listen to the kids sing a couple of songs and eat. Nana, Papa, Great Nana, Grandpa and Grandma came also. She is excited to be done for the summer.
